This is a high quality wooden mate gourd made from algarrobo (the carob tree) with a rustic design that will last for years if treated correctly. Each mate gourd is slightly different as it is hand made. While using the gourd a discolouration of the wood takes place. This is a natural process which occurs through the absorption of the tea.
