Statistical information at the end of the month of November 2019 points to growth in the production and  consumption of yerba mate. Growth is evident in both the domestic Argentine market and in exports, with total volumes increasing by 12 million kilos. Growth in domestic consumption was 4.9% which represents an increase of 12 million kilos over the same period last year. In terms of exports, the figures for the period January to November indicated total exports of 37.4 million kilos which represents the second best result ever (second only to the 2018 result of 43 million tons).
